How Is It Actually to be Inside the Womb? 🤰

I used to think that the womb feels like paradise for a baby. But now I doubt it. Random tastes, unpredictable movement, perhaps a feeling of being squished, and especially mom's emotions—which of course aren't always pleasant. Making up that the womb had preferable and undesirable qualities like any other environment, I remove one last place to project inner paradise out. This means I can more easily find it now, rather than lamenting it being gone or hoping for it in the future.

Sidenote: It’s amazing to recognize how interconnected we are even before we’re born. We’re being shaped by everything. Even now, you-the-reader and I are shaping each other’s future children, or the children of those we come in contact with, in some tiny way through how we become different in communicating-and-receiving these contemplations.

With love, Jordan
