The world's a Rorschach 🃏

True power summed up in three words: "Projection makes perception" (from A Course in Miracles). Or as Shakespeare wrote, "all the world's a stage." Or as the old joke goes:

A psychiatrist shows a new patient a Rorschach (inkblot) card, asking "What do you see?"
"A man and a woman making love in a park," the man replies.
Docs holds up the second picture, "What about this one?"
"It's a nun and a priest having intercourse," the man declares.
"And this one?" doc asks, showing a simple black square.
"Two people sleeping together seen through a window."

Finally, the doc says, ''You're obsessed with sex.'' And the patient replies: ''Me? Doctor, you're the one who keeps showing dirty pictures!"

What dirty pictures do you keep seeing? What doc do you give your creative power to?

"Self care" isn’t something to be done separate from life; if you need self-care it’s a signal that something is out of whack. 🍏

I'd rather say, "my life is out of balance and I'm reassessing my priorities", with a lot of gentleness and assumption that I'll always be adjusting.

This one deserves more time, but I'm overdue on publishing this, so in the spirit of the whole world being a Rorschach that shows us ourselves and our meaning, this fact is surely a mirror for me too...
